for real though i always thought there's no reason for KC to drop before Ye in the first place so this could mean a lot of things

The idea was always for KC to drop after Kanye. KC announced August 6th as the original release date and that led many to believe the Kanye album was coming in July. Then KC got rid of the August 6th release date and just said it would be coming sometime in August, maybe because Kanye decided to push the album back a few weeks. Now KC has no release date and the single that was supposed to drop in a couple weeks has been scrapped.

Not to mention he's no longer mentioning 🎂in his posts which many thought meant something Kanye related was happening on July 12th.

Pretty clear what's happened here imo.
