I listened to both version a bunch of times around 20+ for each, and new version are better imo. It did take some time to get used to tho
I think this is heavily inspired by the fact that we got better quality of the lp2 than the lp1

Could be , both versions are good.
Pure souls improvement could be attributed to the drums and new vocals rather then the organ
