I mean, it's kinda confirmed that most of these beats were for Kanye or for other projects. It was very rushed

Yeah, this is what I'm trying to say. Kanye's production is way too complex for Nas and that's ok. Nasir is still a great album and I listen to it sometimes, overhated for me

uhheverybody going crazy about Kings Disease II and yeah Nas can still spit but..that's pretty much all this has going for it? there are a few highlights but mostly it feels like goes on forever and I can only really take it in small doses.
the production is nice sounding but so repetitive. just tedious to get through imo
Tbh the last couple rap albums everyone's been gassing I haven't felt that much, that boldy album and kd2 were just decent to me

i think the boldy tape has way more variety going for it though. it feels way more like an actual thought out project
