French Toastno way dude, you dont need to know any of that bullshit. dont think about it holistically, you'll get overwhelmed. Start at the tip of the iceberg and you'll naturally find your own path. Just one step at a time that's it. Worry about the very next thing you want to learn or else you'll feel overwhelmed when there's no reason to feel that way.

If it was this weekend instead I would've been all for it, but I used some vacation time for the next 5 days, and I just so happened to be off Friday next week and was able to move off my shift Thursday but won't be able to for Saturday
at least spend Friday in Chicago before flying back Friday night!

whether you go the route or not, no matter what career path you go into learning programming will instantly add $40k to your value. literally. In 2030 there wont be a single career path that's not impacted by this s***. No better investment than investing in yourself

did you head into python first?
nah I learned Javascript/HTML/CSS first. You can learn all 3 together, they tie in nicely to eachother. They're the 3 technologies used to build a website. Super simple to learn, even a s***poster like me can pick it up. Spend 15 minutes a day on it.
As you're learning that you'll prob come up with a billion ideas, you just follow one of those ideas and it'll take you to the next thing to learn
