The theory that is most believable/realistic to me is that Kanye wants people to want Donda as much as he wants his mother back (metaphorically speaking).

Pretty Much Every Kanye album has
1. Guests that are utilized in an interesting way
2. Many producers and some songs that are not even produced by Ye
3. Many writers
4. Guests who steal the show
At the same time DONDA is the first album where I see people comparing it to "DJ Khaled but better", saying that "Ye is a genius curator and that's an evolution".
It's just a bunch of COPIUM plus people who know Kanye since Yeezus or since TLOP and they didn't do enough homework.

i dunno i get what people are saying to an extent but i think a large part of that impression comes from the sequencing from LP2 and the fact that Ye obviously left actually recording his verses for last. i imagine it'll sound more cohesive with the Ye stamp in it in its final form
