Is Drake in a lose-lose situation with CLB?

If he drops now/this month, he’ll inevitably be squared against Kanye, and as many have mentioned, that will give Kanye even more attention which is the absolute last thing Drake wants to do.

If he doesn’t drop and waits out Kanye’s rollout/era, it comes across like Ye is making Drake push his album back and that Drake is hesitant to go head to head.

I’ve said this before, but I think that if you’re the biggest artist out, you should dictate the landscape and not let others affect your rollout.

However, I get that Drake is playing it smart and watching how this unfolds.
Tough spot to be in.
