verse sounds so messy, he can’t even stay on beat, s*** sounds like he forgot how to rap

but then there’s moments on the album like lord i need you and i’m not okay where he’s rapping great, so confusing

or even go2damoon, his delivery on that is perfect, nothing like some of these verses

I like ye's verse on this a good bit. It isn't stellar or anything and it's nothing flashy but he's actually speaking about things I find relatable and emotional. If this really is track 2 it sets the scene really well.

It definitely feels like it makes more sense to have it towards the end but also Kanye West knows how to sequence the hell out of an album. Even his worst album with JIK is about as perfectly sequenced as that group of songs could possibly be.

If Ye ultimately thinks thematically/sonically that Hurricane is better off at track 2, there's a reason for it. I trust him.
