bawling my eyes out listening to 24 right now she'll never love me and god i wihs i had more cocaine
Im listening to it too man.
We gonna be okay
Also I really do like Jay's verse. It isn't a crazy lyrical verse but I don't think it would make sense for him to rap his ass off on this song.
Kinda like that he held back a bit
Hurricane is the only song I listened to from the listening party. The Weeknd is good but Lil Baby shouldn't be on there, at least with a verse like that. Kanye's verse is also kind of mediocre and doesn't have enough thematic material connected to the hook imo, but the main problem is the Lil Baby verse which sounds completely disconnected from the song in both form and function
That’s one way to look at it, I guess.
Idk lol it makes me tolerate it more knowing its followed up by a good song you feel?
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
Imagine him releasing not an album but just a single for now and still going on changing it after release
i really hope its not just a single and hurricane showing up means the album is processing or something
does that ever happen for records on streaming
Usually it means it's releasing first as a single
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
WE GONNA BE OK
I’m not
Usually it means it's releasing first as a single
yeah i figured it out
hurricane on sunday or monday i guess
hopefully its hurricane single
with full tracklist
and proper release date
but knowing kanye just hurricane single
no one is gonna trust a release date at this point
he’s better off just dropping it as a surprise
Fr I am happy as hell I get to sit here in agony with y’all. No one in my life would understand the pain of this not dropping. Sooo thankful I have y’all to vent to & be upset about this.
we’re gonna be Ok Tho

"Surprise" lol

it's really endearing. pretty low level rapping for his standards but it warms my heart hearing him talk about kanye and donda and reference his songs after so many years. if he rerecorded it to have more bars or whatever it might be technically better, but it would lose the soul which would defeat the whole purpose.

Hurricane will drop over the next 49 hours accompanied with a new release date for the album that he will promptly miss and we'll be in shambles all over again
put your f***in money on it

Less is more in this case. Some people want every verse niggas going maxed out

His verse fit the original instrumental much better

Before this all goes down, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for the memories and chaos of the Donda thread. Thank you for the shambles that arose when Nah Nah Nah dropped. Thank you for the excruciating pain of staying around when the election nonsense was going on. Thank you for being around when the past 9 months have just been nothing but radio silence.
From the bottom of my heart...thanks.
