I don't really buy the legitimacy of this anymore.
Assuming he truly cares about preaching and praising, why the complete lack actual christian artists who are struggling in obscurity because no one wants the genre? He could have made careers with 1 album, and brought an entire genre into relevancy.
Why did he get rid of seemingly every bit of sunday service-type stuff?
Why instead is he putting on random radio "rappers" for features, who couldn't care less about christian stuff, and clearly feel awkward having to arbitrarily insert biblical references to attempt to keep "the mood"? Why does it sound like he's attempting to make a "mainstream friendly" album, when he's the last person who has to worry about sales? And it is only about praising?
Call me whatever you want, but I think either
1. he got a lot of people in his ear about the album's direction, and it's part of the reason why it's in such a state it is.
2. He wavered on his commitment and is worried about the money and reception again, because he knows the spotty state of his career currently
There's no such thing as a "radio rapper" it's not 2003. There's two types of music: good music and not good music. Kanye makes good music.

just noticed this lmao
