idk why but the TLOP shambles never bothered me, he was still everywhere for most of the drought, only time he stepped out of the public eye throughout that entire 2 and a half year wait was late 2015

for frank we had to go through the july 2015 pump fake, then white ferrari shambles later that year, then more silence, then the library card, then the endless stream which was like wtf, then endless dropped, then NYT says he's dropping another album on August 5th, then that doesn't happen but we get magazine leaks, we get the entire thread messaging apple help, then he drops nikes at like 2am in the morning and then the album at 5pm on a saturday

to that point we had never been thru a whirlwind like that with kanye, so that prepared me for everything that came after

He just produced a whole project for Abstract Mindstate, and he can do this. But I think it’s more about what fits the aesthetic for this Donda project - Donda literally the big feminine presence on the project and maybe he didn’t want anything to detract from that…
