spongebobit sounds like a lot of placeholder verses on his part, he’s like just adlibbing and mumbling so many of the verses
Honestly, some of these verses are Ye feature tier. I feel like all of his other albums sound more finished vocally. Yes, even Jesus is King.

TkkenI don't really think kanye is a very malicious or conniving person so I don't interpret this as him trying to "trick" fans
I think he brought in too many people trying to rush this project to completion and the emotion and polishedness of the album got lost in the process
I would like to see him take some time to refine this

maneraI don't think so. Everything about this rollout has been vastly more focused than anything he's done since Yeezus, both sonically and thematically. The entire 24 hour Truman Show livestream and the show itself was just fascinating.
I think it's as simple as it's not totally done yet lol.
He's focused but he's not committed.
I never said he's not focused. He's just not confident in the work and isn't committed to making it final for us to hear.
