Tbh I liked the song originally because it felt endearing and genuine “last night don’t count this morning dont count”

And I see what he was tryna do putting Chris brown on it, the idea that sinners can be made new and even that idea appeals to me

But Chris brown singing the lyrics “last night don’t count this morning don’t count” isn’t nearly as endearing because with Kanye you think it’s some light sinning and he’s struggling to live better day by day, with Chris it’s like “so what I beat a woman last night and this morning, it don’t count!”
