You’re right that their original purpose has changed, but a lot of libraries and adapted to the times and offer a lot of other services and resources. There is a lot of information you cannot find online because its tucked away in an old book, nothing wrong with a big old library! Although Ye’s point about getting information from a person rather than a book is 100% true. Truthfully I am on his side about the book thing.

Honestly think he feels most at peace after the dust settles on these type of moments(that era was after the MAGA stuff). Maybe he feels freer after engaging with public opinion in such an abrasive way
