The last time I answered this I ended up on a watchlist
Lmao if you said what I’m thinking right now
I don’t have to attempt. Niggas are triggered by a shirt with a truthful statement on it.
The amount of power ya give white people is astonishing.
This is the representation of this and that is the representation of this. Na you just got scammed buddy lmao
Yeah that’s why I didn’t respond lol. Niggas in Chicago weren’t moving like that either. Niggas was at the trump tower multiple days and shut downtown down. I can’t say it’s performative when mfs were getting themselves arrested and some more s*** to fight for change.
And what changed? Fundamentally what changed other than more people being angry for those two months?
There are no new organizations, no new movements from the left, no attempt to make up for what we didn’t achieve in 2020
From one green pride fan to another…remove that avy my brother
You on the boycott wave?
Police brutality will never end
Same as Racism
And everything else that negatively impacts us
True that's why I believe in abolishing police
people took advantage of the protests to just start breaking s*** and looting. for the hell of it. That made the movement look bad imo

Were 250 pages in on the most redundant topic, obviously rocking wlm is rerarted no more need to really explain why
Yeah that was the only place where anything happened and at best they just reformed the police department
no systemic change ANYWHERE in the US except for some cops being held accountable for actions that all other cops will happily do again and again
Main reason of those protests was so the cops could be held accountable tho so u saying they were performative is straight cap
Since protesting for change is suddenly just a vibe, what do y’all suggest black folk do since y’all got all the answers
I always call for riots when s*** like George floyd situation happen, that’s the only way they’ll hear us if we were peaceful like the sean bell case or the Trayvon case it’ll be the same old outcome.. but when we show them we mean business s*** definitely change..
Those BLM protest brought awareness around the world about police brutality in America and it did change some laws/how things were done in different communities. Also further exposed Trump as a racist jackass
I guess the root of it is that the protest can happen without an organization behind it. S*** we could protest tomorrow with no police footage sacrifice of a black life but do we ? There were and are many organizers of protest that ran protest outside of BLM
Because White Lives Matter slogan was created as a spite to BLM.
That is the only reason white people latched on to it, to mock a movement that brought light to black lives being lost

Is BLM a slogan and movement or is it not? Ya moving the goal post lol
True that's why I believe in abolishing police
I'm 50/50 on that.
Only because Crime and Criminals is a thing.
Unless we can find a better solution than Police
It’s a legit organization, albeit a grassroots one.
But @dogwhistle is really just strawmanning. You can criticize BLM all you want, but what does that have to do with KanYe wearing a WLM shirt? Nothing.
guess i was right
Main reason of those protests was so the cops could be held accountable tho so u saying they were performative is straight cap
This is straight up wrong
The entire point of the movement was to demand reform and systemic change.
not to give three police officers a charge for something thousands get away with EVERY DAY
people took advantage of the protests to just start breaking s*** and looting. for the hell of it. That made the movement look bad imo
That will always happen though
The BLM thing goes deeper than just the org tho
The way capitalism embraced and sold the activism back to people , the way it was a social media trend so people felt like changing their profile pics was doing something, play the game until people got all it's protesting done so the status quo can be resumed with absolutely nothing of consequence changing
Doesn't make anything Kanye do make sense tho and people got right to be mad at him but bruh is never gonna change. It's not like he walked back his Trump support, or any of the things he's done
this is facts. maybe it’s a little mean spirited for Kanye to poke fun at the failure of BLM in this way, but i’m kind of surprised at the big deal everyone is making of this.
ngl this is the first time I think he’s kind of nailed the irony thru art but just my opinion.
The centrist black ppl trying to be objective really kill my nerves
It shouldnt upset you, mfs have a right to be skeptical of everything right and left
Since protesting for change is suddenly just a vibe, what do y’all suggest black folk do since y’all got all the answers
You see the arrest rate or go to the protest in Chicago? Protest is only so effective. Yes awareness is something and walking in a police designated circle is something and a sense of unity or not feeling alone but it only accomplishes so much.
Even with all the protest you have Biden saying it would be dumb to defund the police so cycles continue
