The only lives Kanye gives a s*** about at this deluded point are his own and those of his family. What it says on the shirt is only a means to an end.

Like always, he's playing the troll game to promote s***, only this time he's trying to gaslight the people criticizing him by making it about the BLM organization and claiming he's doing us a favor.

Ultimately the only statement this Kanye cares about is his bank statement.

It’s a shirt with a truthful statement on it.

He also donated money to the family who’s blood was the driving force for that movement kicking up steam. That’s a fact.

And caring about your bank statement is not a bad thing. I’d rather you sell me your honest thoughts than sell me my trauma.

This is the actual harm behind the weight society places on "rhetoric" and ideas. Yall think that power is gained by changing hearts and minds and not through violent struggle

If anything this is the harm created by ethos surrounding wealth and not labor

Kanye is rich, therefore his opinion is valuable. Kanye donated millions to BLM, therefore his opinion s valuable

It’s not “Kanye’s done extensive research into BLM, therefore his opinion is valuable.” or “Kanye has a well known knowledge of political theory, therefore his opinion is valuable.”

    Protesting isn't effective

It got effective when they started destroying private property and gained more and more attention. No, peaceful protesting on matters like this is not effective which is why ppl branched off

I promise you those of us on the ground putting in work were not trying to sell your trauma back to you, at least I never was. Offering a truth in the face of injustice was the point if you weren't just soothing your conscience with your bumper sticker.

Tell that to all the people that were seriously injured and to the families of the people that lost their lives.

If they went into it with the knowledge that this is a violent struggle for power then they knew the risks

If they didn't then they were naive

Just because people got hurt does not mean the execution their agenda was somehow made more effective

Those protests were unorganized and nondirectional

If anything it proves that direct action is more than walking around with a sign

Yep. People in power don't care about marches or people holding signs

They care about their power being threatened
