PAC was in movies
i mean so was kanye if we being honest
but yes tupac was the actual actor
His influence won't hold up as well as Tupac's has and to the extent that it has imo, history shows us that people who act up in the later years of whatever they're doing tend to be judged most for that. Not even just in music.
Brother, he was just responsible for 85% of Adidas profits Q2 and sold $565M in a day after doing all that s***. I think he’s here for a while longer lmfao

I personally think you're not looking at the bigger picture.

I’m looking at the bigger picture, Yeezy has been engrained into the culture and usurps Ye’s antics, the proof is in the pudding and the numbers don’t lie.
There are so many people who still buy his product and continue to purchase it that don’t know about the antics, the antics never reached their part of the world, or just don’t care, they just want Yeezy.
People still calling him a genius and misunderstood, and there’s millions of those people in all ages. I think it’s f***ed up what he did and said, but people just don’t care lol

The numbers don't lie... for now. That's the basis of my arguments, he's showing signs of behavior than 99% of the time leads to artists or figures tarnishing their reputation and future generations not respecting them as much as the generation that were directly after them (the Drake, Tyler, Juice World etc... generation for Kanye). I'm not arguing that people will forget him or erased, imo he'll still be among the most impactful in hip hop. I'm just arguing that over time his influence won't be as high as it is now, whereas Tupacs influence has been proven to hold up over time and not diminish at a significant rate.
Tupac has an impact and influence that is proven and consistent over multiple generations. As for Kanye we don't know if his impact will be as high as it is now and whether it will hold up over time or people will take less inspiration from him.
If Kanye died after MBDTF he would surpass Pac, him still being alive is the only reason why it’s being debated, death makes you iconic unfortunately because people are dumb and don’t really know how to recognize s*** in the big picture while it’s ongoing

Possibly but that's not the reality we live in

I guess time will tell, I just feel like you downplaying his legacy. We’ll see
Kanye is the greatest and most influential artist of our generation.
This is probably true
Tbh this answer can go either way depending on how you look at it
