It was dropped in 2015 as a single to “So Help Me God” which became TLOP, It was just a one off song that did okay, the most memorable thing about it was the performance with 20 goons & Taylor in the crowd

aside from that he was pretty much pushing his vision with Travis so idk what you mean he kept them close when he worked with them not that often or used their success for his gain

Real Friends/30 Hours dropping on SoundCloud did more for ye in terms of people calling it a “return to form” and getting excited about what he was going to drop

His hype was astronomical in 2014-2015-2016 to drop a more accessible album after Yeezus. All Day had nothing to do with that. If anything, FourFiveSeconds was the only song he dropped in 2015 that made a ton of noise

It didn’t save his career by any means, but I think one could argue that the 2014 low quality leak is bigger than the actual song. It was extremely rare to get anything like that back then and I remember seeing it everywhere, including mainstream sites that would usually never even discuss/post about hip hop. It was a pretty huge thing and it got a lot of people really excited about a “return to form” after Yeezus.

All Day literally helped launched the Ultra Boosts and Yeezy boot 950 and other Yeezy/Adidas s*** cause everyone was watching Ye’s moves towards finishing the song up to BRIT awards
let’s not be revisionist of what this era did for Yeezy brand and it wasn’t because of f***ing 45seconds melodic whistling with Beatle and Riri
