I get what you’re saying but the thing about mental illnesses, especially one as serious as BPD, is that these issues can be more of a maze than a straight path. Even though he’s very obviously suffering and it seems irresponsible of him, Kanye refusing treatment isn't anything out of the norm especially when he's not being willfully negligent—he truly believes it's dangerous to his self-identity

I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held accountable for not seeking help but I just feel people grossly underestimate how debilitating and depersonalizing his issue is and write it off as he would be better off dead and children should lose their father over a sequence of manic episodes. To put it in perspective, it’s akin to witnessing who’s screaming in agony because they’re on fire and getting mad at them for burning down houses in your neighborhood, you have to choose to ignore a big factor in all this
