Bernie would’ve given trump a free pass into a second term and he knows it
Instead he gave the entire system a free pass
ah the leader of the circle jerk.
you folks for 90 pages slandering a black man running for office as an independent, something your superhero Bernie Saunders didn’t even have the testicular fortitude to do, and assaulting his character and beliefs, beliefs a large portion of the black population in the US supports, while simultaneously ignoring the lack of policy, attention to problems in the black community, and sexual assault allegations the two other candidates possess is mind blowing
even if ye doesnt win, him running as an black self made billionaire from Chicago, and creating his own party the way bernie should have ran if he wanted real systemic change, is inspiring and for you to fail to sympathize with someone this site is dedicated to for attempting to do something no one ever took seriously in favor of Donald trump and joe Biden is a f***ing joke
this is america and ye is the walking symbol of the america dream in the f***ing flesh.
don't get me wrong it's sad
also if biden can beat trump then so can bernie lmao.
i think what's also especially sad is like, I don't share the politics of the Obama/hillary/biden side of the democrat party, but at least when they put forward someone like Obama they are putting forward an exceptional centre right/centrist candidate. Biden has nothing to offer at this point, so now would have been the perfect election to let someone like bernie have their shot.
I'll never forget how they kept slandering his name just to get rid of him as a candidate then bully him to endorse Biden like that.
But I guess you are right, this could be good for the future of the left.....hopefully
Well the only other two options are pedophiles so I’ll happily take ye as president
Bernie would’ve given trump a free pass into a second term and he knows it
he would have hurt the left's credibility too
the only thing close to comparable is Brexit partly happened because our party of government was scared of a third party running as a uk independence party (the name makes you wanna vomit right
) so it pushed them to have a referendum.
but idk if bernie could push biden or trump more than he already has done on any issues. and he's not a one issue guy anyway (healthcare is a focus sure but he's still not one issue)
Seeing all these “believe women” types flip flop and keep shilling Biden as soon as his accuser came out should show u the moral character of those voting for him

you deadass think that biden has a "lack of policy" compared to trump, who couldn't even answer a question regarding his policy vision for a second term?
Instead he gave the entire system a free pass
The entire system wouldn’t have changed if Bernie had run
Trump would’ve won and had 4 more years
The DNC would hate Bernie
A ton of moderate Democrats would hate Bernie and by association hate the left
The left side of the US political spectrum would be completely and utterly fractured and the GOP would almost definitely win again in 24
Bernie would’ve given trump a free pass into a second term and he knows it
Sadly
Bro
I’m far left
I’m probably left of Bernie
And I’m not able to bring myself to think that way
America is bound to a two party system until the entire government system changes
The only way short of a political system change to something like MMP is to change what those two parties represent
Everybody has to buy in,which would be near impossible
he would have hurt the left's credibility too

The one thing Bernie COULD have done is strong arm the DNC into a further left platform
As in “I’m running as an independent if you don’t put xyz on the table”
I'll never forget how they kept slandering his name just to get rid of him as a candidate then bully him to endorse Biden like that.

yeah tbf bernie made some proper strategic mistakes in the week or so leading up to south carolina
s*** really turned for him. centrists like pelosi were actually preparing to have him as the nominee cos it seemed so inevitable.
he ran the best campaign but unfortunately if you're on the left you are held to a higher standard. that's not what anybody wants to hear but i think in the future there has to be a strategy as a response to that from whoever becomes the most prominent left politican over the next few years.
Can someone explain to me why fellas started using directions as buzzwords in politics

biden is a globalist puppet that supported the most damaging crime bill in the history of the United States. this is not some dumb trump tweet, this has and still is impacting generations of black people

yeah
would that have been worth staying in or would it have broke down credibility for the left and lost support?
also is it remotely credible as a threat from bernie, when people know he wouldn't run independent to just lose and let trump in
"That said, he won’t say much more against Trump. He’s much less shy about criticizing Biden, which certainly won’t tamp down the idea that the Birthday Party is a ruse to help re-elect Trump. “I’m not saying Trump’s in my way, he may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on man, please. You know? Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special.”
he truly does need help
