Dec 15, 2019GetupigetdownI agree. Honestly as time passes I just become more grateful I was able to watch him go from that guy I enjoyed making beats on Jay-Z albums. To college drop out. All the way to what is still his masterpiece, MBDTF. That was really his last complete, amazing album from front to back in my opinion. All the other stuff has been nice complementary work and I have enjoyed stuff along the way. But it is no where near the early era. Despite the message of positivity now, dude is not taking medications, and clearly should be based on past events, and when that is the case it’s easy to see the hypocrisy surrounding this “new” Kanye. Put himself in a bubble when he used to be all about breaking social norms. Just my opinion.
TLDR - I appreciate still Kanye as an artist, I’ll never forget the run of albums that changed my life, and hope is really stable and happy.What’s wrong with him not taking his meds? Tf

I feel that dude. I think since music is a big part of his brand he refuses to abandon it completely and uses it to compliment everything he has going on (Christianity, Yeezy brand, possible presidential run etc)
I can see him having a bounce back and releasing more top tier albums in the future. Plenty of legends had classics later in their careers. But rn he ain't in it
