You are aware he said “400 years? That sounds like a choice to me”

Alexa, how long did slavery exist in America?

    246 years

Therefore, he wasn’t referring to actual slavery he was referring to the mental slavery that all of us are still trapped in.

Slavery has been around in America since Columbus came over in 1492 you f***ing ed mf

Then any logical black person would know Jim Crow laws were around well into the 1900s

Black people just got the right to vote around 70 years ago

There were schools still getting desegregated in the 70s and 80s

Either way you sound ignorant so

The 3 billion valuation for Yeezy is kinda useless honestly lol. The Yeezy brand is 100% connected to Kanye, he couldn’t liquidate it for anywhere near 3 billion because it becomes near-worthless if he isn’t connected to it.

He probably makes solid annual income from his cut of Yeezy revenues, but I highly doubt he has anywhere near a billion to spend.

Would you say this about the Jordan brand?

Because unless you're black there's no way you can understand what we went through

You can sit on your computer and recite "facts" and statistics but all you want

Your opinion does NOT matter, we don't care. Your statement holds zero weight

Would you say this about the Jordan brand?

I think Jordan is better established to the point where its outgrown MJ and exists on its own. I don’t think that’s true for Yeezy, at least not yet. Maybe one day, but for now the idea of liquidating the company for 3 billion doesn’t seem realistic.

My guy Columbus was a Spaniard. Which was it Kanye was talking about? American or Spanish slavery? Enslavement of Africans or Native Americans? Pick one.

The guy was talking about slavery in America which has existed since before the USA was founded in 1776 all the way back until 1492.
Slavery is not exclusive to the chattel slavery of Southern Plantations. It was an idea brought over from Western Europe by people like Columbus.
