WTT was Kanye tapping into the S-tier "bars" type of rapper he could have been if he wasn't so focused on making amazing albums and just tried to be the best lyricist
Not knocking the lyrics on his other works but WTT Ye was just a different monster. Maybe just being with Jay forced him to step up to bat a little more, nobody wants to hear they got washed for an entire album.
