I just remember it being a relief that Em was actually rapping decently again after how horrific Revival was.

There's 3-4 songs on their that I think are really, really good. The rest is either MID or KEEP.

If you compare Hov's recent rapping on A Written Testimony and his recent feature with Nip vs. his work on s*** like BP3 or MCHG, it's a bigger difference then you'd expect.

He sounds the best he's sounded since his prime. He raps now with the technicality of Reasonable Doubt mixed with the content and lyrics of 4:44. I am dying for a new album with his newer style.

4:44 is better than MCHG by a very long shot but that’s because MCHG was ass. Em had his “renaissance” already from 2012-15

His verses on Shady XV were insane, but that album as a whole was just ok.
