Ngl I'm such a puritan when it comes to gambling anymore
We did too much
we’re all living in a gambling hellscape and i can’t see how this ends
Wouldn’t the stans lose money? They don’t think logically? They all have this number the artist won’t even come close to.
Inshallah spotify removes streaming numbers from the website
That’s like half their business model

Exactly my thought lol it’s going to be hard for a lot of them to bet on their artists not hitting the goal 💀
why the f*** do we as listeners/consumers need to even have access to streaming/sales/fw numbers other than to help labels push certain artists and projects? genuinely need an answer here

Chart watching. Betting on streams. Known bot farms. Sales gimmicks. Streams and influencers admitting to being paid off to talk about an album or artist.
Like now more than ever there's hardly any reason to give validity to numbers/streams/charts.
How is this legal considering the bot manipulation?
if it makes wealthy people wealthier, it's "legal"
never forget the day congress passed that law with making sports bets.
The NBA has never been the same since, and ultimately led up to all these apps creations
