That s*** was complete garbage and drank ocean is an aesthetics merchant
It wasn’t
He performed multiple great new renditions of songs, along with deep cuts. When he was actually performing it was peak. It just was a haphazard poorly organized show that went terribly
Nah franks performance was some bullshit, at least the fans at Justin show seemed engaged and enjoying it from what I’ve seen.
if a woman did it it would be called iconic I think
PinkPantheress would’ve got away with it tbh
I mean he literally is cosplaying as Dijon.
Dijon is getting paid for this so who cares
I think the idea is cool but him watching Deez Nuts and “it’s not clocking to you” was corny
2 of the unfunniest memes at their time

He's desperate to make that standing on business meme a thing lmao
I'm sure it was even on the album as an interlude or something
I thought his actual performance was incredible. I’m sure he has no interest in performing ‘Baby’ in 2026 so the YouTube thing was a fun way of including those songs for the people that wanted to hear em.
This was really cool
MJ once made a very interesting point about wanting to do certain things in a different way but he knew the paying audience came to the show expecting to see Billie Jean with the fedora etc
It's interesting to see so many want the 2013 Believe Tour recreation in the same vein here. He's moved on and still covered off those hits
How he performed Swag vs the older stuff was really interesting, noticeably different

especially since the merch he was selling had the "is it not clocking to you" on it

I personally think it's because he has no financial incentive to play anything pre-2022 since he sold his entire publishing up until Dec 31, 2021. It was an interesting concept to explore, but trying to foster an intimate and interactive experience while seemingly being uninterested and unengaged throughout made it feel disingenuous. He really could have done something special with literally not that much more effort and forethought... It's true he does not owe the fans and festivalgoers anything but that can be the same for the crowd not owing him any grace. Tbh i dont care how much he got paid, but who knows maybe he really needs the money lol Giveon performed on the same stage before him and didnt do much besides sing and had a great show
people really trying to defend frank "performance" lol
75% of it was good, if you haven’t seen it in a while you should watch the concert film
I see nothing wrong.
Justin my GOAT
If you’re really basing the Coachella performance just off of one song then you’ve already lost the plot in this discussion lol
we’re talking about him sounding better so why would i not ask you to compare a song bozo

I think it has to less to do with that and more to do with the fact that he's already toured all of his pre-2022 output extensively during his career:
The guy had two 120+ show tours under his belt before he even turned 20 years old, and he took a long break from performing & dropping music because he was burned out. He released two lengthy albums in 2025, so it makes sense that he prioritized his new material for his first major performance in over 4 years
Damn they deleted the tweet anyone got a screenshot for youtube video purposes
which one
