Movie was f***ed even with Whedon because he had to deliver a movie under 120 minutes with credits included, studio mandated, to have more shows at theaters.

Snyder dropped out midway through making justice league and they replaced him with joss whedon. The movie was heavily cut and rewritten with scenes taken out and added. Now snyder is coming back to finish the movie, it will be 2 hours longer than the theatrical release with all the whedon stuff taken out.
