Man of steel has a weak ass 2nd half. S*** you may as well have named Batman v Superman cuz it clears all those movies

Even as a big MCU hater, I can admit infinity war was solid. But it’s no where near Snyder cut. Anyone with eyes can see that

Thinking about superman 25 rn and its visual style actually makes me naseous more so than the flash actually.
Mad henry danger nickolodeon vibes all around from the costuming to the acting to the writing
Dont kno too much about Mr terrific from the comics but he was pretty cool in the movie
And guy gardener was classic straight from the comics best part of the movie for sure
Didnt hate the jor-el plot twist, i think its fine to mess with lore as long as u stay true to the heart of the character which ill give props to gunn, Corenswet was a good addition to the Superman multiverse
even if the movie was mid generic capeshit.
The movie felt like eating a sleeve of oreos.
The first 2 oreos tasted really good but u went braindead and kept eating them to chase that first high and by the end of the sleeve u just sick to your stomach regretting u ate any to begin with.
on superman returns:
Like corenswet Routh did the best he could with the given material.
Like snyder, brian singer tried to do an auteur serious version of superman but at the same time he made it a sequel to the donnerverse and it failed on both counts...
Superman returns is like dry top ramen with no seasoning.
There is nothing memorable or likeable in this movie to me besides Routh's casting and the bullettime scene
Glad he redeemed himself with a more classic comic book like portrayal on the CW for like 5 minutes.
Hate the costume in superman returns also but rouths kingdom come suit is peak

Like if you really think a 4 hour version of a film that adds extensive backstories to central characters and expands on the mythology of its world while being sincere and without s***ty quirky MCU jokes is slop, then you need to reevaluate your life
