Brightburn, homelander, omniman y’all not tired? At this point it’s really what if Superman was good

And that’s what Superman: Legacy is going to be lmao

And it certainly has a lot going for it.

I’m mixed on Gunn . I don’t need Superman entirely perfect or evil there is a middle ground there that I think many of us hoped Snyder would land
But seeing it play out within context would be interesting, no? Similar to Batman being vengeful.
I don't think so especially when Superman's only reason for becoming evil is Louis dying and we'd probably spend another Justice League movie without him in the team.

Fair.

Wasn't that superman with Snyder?

Unfortunately his way of artistic expression doesn't sit well for most people.
Snyder Superman a lot better if you don’t
1. Rush to kill him
2. Don’t do zod and doomsday back to back
3. Blow up the court case and his only chance to address humanity for a pre joke
4. Nightmare sequence , Lois is the key , him murdering a African
5. You at least show his mental process before becoming a genocidal maniac then returning to life still somewhat evil then the possibility of him being evil again never addressed outside of a jerk off joke timeline
We saw what if Superman was evil in Zod and doomsday. The twist of a white man being evil or turning evil isn’t what you think it is to the majority of the population
As opposed to a black man being evil? Wtf does that have to do with anything?

I will defer to @SUPERMAN
But yes the trope of the perfect white man turning evil gets old . Nor was it super well executed here . That is my opinion
“ wtf does that have to do with anything” if you loved the movie series I’m glad you did. I am not here to s*** on your enjoyment. I’m saying why it didn’t work for me. My opinion has no relation to yours. You are a stranger on the internet. I hope next week brings closure and I will be watching rebel moon

knightmare league soon
I don't the think general audience is going to be rushing out to see new interpretation of Superman, Wonder Woman or Aquaman. WB should've just kept the original plan of altering the universe with The Flash even if I don't care for that either lol
Gunnverse is destined to flop.

People will see it . As much as I’m not crazy rooting for Gunn . It will do fine

think it's too soon. Superman has a chance since not that many people cared for Snyder's version and He's still DC's biggest hero outside of Batman. not so sure about Wonder Woman or Aquaman. They're not ready to be rebooted yet. People are still attached to Gal as WW and Aquaman's sequel is literally dropping this year.
Having so many reboots in such little time is just going to give people fatigue.

yes, people still loved her as WW and her first movie is considered one of the best DCU movies (it's mid imo).
also it's going to be weird setting up a new universe with these characters when you know you can't do an origin story for any of them.

Wonder Woman 1 was in fact mid . Again I’m in no way rooting for Gunn but a lot of these heroes would benefit from less origin and just tell a story. Too much focus is placed on “ this is why this character is a good person BUT WATCH OUT THEY CAN TURN EVIL”

Origin stories are played out for sure but it's just weird to start a brand new universe without telling at least one.
