Snyder I see the aim but the focus on comic homages would doom any director. Like Man of Steel in a way was dope because it wasn't overly focused on fan service and the neck snap was the opposite of what many of us expected but then BVS and JL were both apology movies for the last and focused on imagery and symbolism over landing

Getting one man to impose style and ideas on an entire universe made of various characters with their own styles and themes was a mistake.

I mean the level of fan service even in BVS was close to MCU level

definitely needed a feige or will in the future but really they rushed into shared universe way too fast. It would work if he was just focused on telling stories and less origins but he winded up doing origins anyway and batman basically had an origin again too because of redemption arc

you don't need origins for these characters I am telling you not asking
