I know what you mean but that's not what I am referring to. This franchise gave birth to the same fanbase you are criticizing, and they are quite the loudmouths. They made their voices incredibly strong they bullied a studio into putting out a director's cut, and may possibly get another director's cut out, it's a testament to these films' impact.
