Their characters already had movies so they were able to cover more. This movie due to being made when it was had to introduce them ans have them team up

Again if they had a Feige at WB other than Snyder then they would have formed a road map for solos or not had all these heroes boring ass origins and had them all have been the heroes for a while. The whole universe revolved around superman a character who was barely developed, got like 12 minutes of screen time in this movie and was finally becoming who he was supposed to be without revolving around his f*** pillow lois

It would definitely make more sense but in the 3 hours he hints towards so much in the future rather than focus on the story at hand and wrapping up all the loose ends that are there
