maybe doomsday clock wasn’t the best book to start with
Johns is not necessarily in his prime rn by his GL is basically the peak of modern GL stories. Like he made Hal Jordan relevant again. He has a lot of good stuff a classic Flash run with Wally West too, he brought Barry back as the main flash and wrote a small run including Flashpoint too

tha7osavageYeah I don’t really fw dude after all this s*** came out, but his GL run is prob the definitive GL run in comics IMO. The art is amazing as well. Doomsday Clock was great, but if you didn’t follow the whole rebirth thing and all those storylines, it could def be super underwhelming.
my issues with it are that he’s dumbing down watchmen to fit the narrative & tone he’s already set up in his dcu. I just felt like the whole thing was an empty experience with absolutely nothing to say. Nice artwork tho.
