Was excited for mr Sunday movies podcast review of this
But one of them is on his ‘it’s not that different, it’s basically the same movie, it’s still bad in the same way’ s***
My co-worker just told me this morning that:
-Snyder cut is the same movie as 2017. “They only changed a few things”.
-it was overly dramatic like a soap opera
-he said Darkseid was weak as f***
-he acknowledges he is a Marvel stan
Do I work with someone ITT?
I’m hoping the US Steelbook art is different because

Like just use the main poster

Anyone clowning on the Raimi trilogy is clowning themselves.
Raimi trilogy def has it's flaws but the criticisms this man throws at them are dumb as f***. He just comes off as a know it all contrarian
captain midnight been a real one
yea he cool sometimes he misses the point of a movie as well but it's understandable
One of the best scenes of the film
I love the way Snyder uses details like that to mythologize his characters. It does a lot to establish the weight they have on the world.
I appreciate that unlike the MCU, there’s actual respect in this movie for its characters. No cheeky corny quips that delegitimize it’s characters unless it is literal character behavior like from the Flash, which is when that kind of humor works best.
Tbh the only thing I flat out didn’t like was Letos laugh as Joker. That s*** is so trash.
was gonna say if any of you defend that joker laugh youre a lost cause

I would think so, international release looking like May
If not I’m importing a 4K

it's not bad, I just wish we got the Alex Ross inspired poster instead.
also, can we get the 4k version for f*** sakes. I know it would be spread out into two discs because the movie is 4 hours but idc

that s*** is actually funny. i guess aesthetically it's a cool cover, but that is a lil goofy.
I think lore wise, the Martian Manhunter is even stronger than Superman
wtf thats overpowered lol

Brain dead MCU fans Are rampant

Fire >> Kryptonite though.
But i guess Supes being susceptible to magic really doesn't help his case in the DC world filled with magic users lol.

I'm telling you, bruh... there's no reasoning with them lol. I've tried to lay s*** out for em, but they ain't having it

Like techinically, Shazam should be able to absolutely wash Supes. I'm sure Supes' intellect or maturity makes all the difference, but ya

like i have seen "professional" writers still s*** on this because it just doesnt come close to the "perfection" Marvel is delivering
so I can't imagine how insufferable actual mcu stans are
Its sad too because they are the reason most movies suck rn

Yeah it just sucks. Marvel sorta set the precedent for what CBM movies should be in a lot of these people's heads. Which i absolutely hate because I've just always been open to things that are different, and have grown to quite appreciate things that deviate from the norm.
