Nerd fandom racist af. Especially the comic book and anime ass nigga community
F*** the damn general audience
tbh considering they're the reason we get so many s***ty movies every year, f*** them
His best movie. MOS his best action tho. The main reason I say You ever make a REAL live action DBZ movie you better hire Snyder at all costs
literally how i felt watching Superman take on Zodd's people. DBZ level destruction
haven't seen a single person who's opinion I trust s*** on this film. It's really not as divisive as I thought it would be, mostly just mainstream critics or people who were never going to get over their hate towards Snyder trashing it.
Snyder really won.
i think what helps is that audiences have become soo used to CBM's being one way that they're willing to try his style again
e-streets saying Snyder allegedly having a meeting with WB execs
We gonna need some sources

Been thinking the same thing
I feel like MCU stans think that if you like Snyder, that means you only like constant seriousness but what they fail to realize is that mcu haters love fun movies. The MCU is not fun. There is nothing fun about repetitive bland soulless corporate filmmaking that is about fitting in corny quips and making every film about the exact same thing and not a single characters emotions ever feeling validated.
There is a lot of fun to be had with a movie that takes its premise and its genre seriously. In the face of literal extinction, its very easy to just not give a f*** when you got characters making dad jokes every 5 seconds.
Mad Max Fury Road was an extremely fun movie and theres maybe like one or two actual bits of attempted humor. On the other hand, the Nolan trilogy was always considered very serious, yet theres quite a bit of humor and its actually funny unlike the MCU yet it never distracts from the tone they create. To the MCU haters, the most fun movies are the ones that commit fully to their genre, not the ones that think they are being cheeky by being self aware and poking fun at the genre, its characters, and its world in a sort of "haha I know its so nerdy and stupid right?!"
Flash Gordon is fun, Ant Man isn’t.
If and a big if they greenlight a sequel is it just going to be the previous ideas Snyder had in mind? Given its already been put our there and how similar it is to Marvel's endgame wouldn't say that's a good idea

I mean his style is watered down here
MCU made so that all sci-fi and fantasy films have to poke fun at the ridiculousness of it all because they have zero faith in audiences taking the genres seriously.

You know what's crazy, I think that Batman Begins and TDK has some of the best examples of humor in a CBM done right,
The scene in TDK where Lucius Fox shuts down the dude tryna reveal Batman's secret identity is hilarious, tastefully done and doesn't take away from the tone of the movie
