I actually didn’t get taken out of the movie from the cgi with snyder cut
i understand 2017 version was rushed in the end but jeezus
Was ok, maybe 7.5/10. Cant remember enough of original to judge how much better it was but def an improvement. Cyborg stole the movie though and i need more batfleck
Yea Cyborg was great, was the football scene in the Whedon cut?
Is superman the animated series / justice league / justice league unlimited a good depiction of superman?
And Which of these 3 is the best show?
Realised I’m lacking on superman stuff only having seen superman 1, returns, mos/bvs and smallville
JLU prob the best show but if you like MOS I feel like you'll like all 3 of these shows. Their depiction of Superman isnt that far off from Cavill
8.5/10 for me. This was a great watch. Wish I could’ve saw it in theaters
Apparently Zack's screening this in IMAX and the proceeds are going to suicide prevention charities to honor his daughter.
WB really tried to replace this man with Whedon

this why its f*** WB forever

WB stay sabotaging themselves and then try to take the credit when the movies they tried to downplay end up hitting.
Joaquin won an Oscar for Joker (a film I thought was enjoyable) even tho WB aint have faith in it lmaooo.
Now it's advertised as an Oscar winning movie and one of the best selling R rated movies of all time If I recall correctly

on one hand, its cool that WB atleast does occasionally produce movies that take risks like that (BR2049 and Fury Road being more notable examples)
on the other hand, they are extremely greedy anti artist scumbags
but atleast they arent as scummy as Disney

Joker got hella promo wym seemed like they knew what they had after Joaquin signed on.
movie mid tho

Honestly I feel like BR2049 was able to be made because of who Villanueve was. I think Fury Road might've been green lit cuz you got two megastars in Charlize & Tom signing on.
Idk

idk i remember most of Joker's press being negative like "oh this is gonna cause mass shootings" or some s***

Idk
BR2049 p much got made because of Ridley putting up the money for it
Fury Road was like a near 20 year process of Miller trying to get the funding so yeah def not because WB was helpful for sure
but atleast WB still ended up producing those 2 movies which would have been very difficult to produce for those budgets anywhere else.

20 years? Jesus christ lmaooo and it ended up being one of the best blockbusters of that decade

Miller said they actually got the green light back in 2000 or so but then 9/11 happened and it killed the project so he ended up doing all these other movies like Happy Feet as ways to get the money to make it again

that's not on them but also I'm sure WB loved the controversy. controversy sells.
Joker controversy was hilarious cuz anyone with a brain knew it was overblown but liberals were so set on the movie influencing more mass shootings.
I gotta see the whedon cut cuz i see everyone praising cyborg and i thought he was pretty bland in this
If this s*** was already split into parts then why not release it weekly or something?

Disney paid em to say it tbh
WB really gotta be feeling stupid as f*** right now
snyder cut was fire. Way more heartfelt and full of life than that POS that came out in 2017.

not a fan of the movie but I also remember people making fun of the idea of WB getting Todd Phillips to make a Joker movie as if he doesn't have more visual flair than 98% of Marvel's go to directors

to be fair tho he made a movie not a show lol. the rollout made sense when HBO Max wanted to gain attention each week for subs but they don't need that anymore with the WB movie rollouts.
if we gonna get his original vision it should be seen as a movie like he intended.
