problem is that lames kept crying for DC to become Marvel and now thats what they doing with movies like Aquaman, Shazam, WW and WW84 which barely feel any different to your typical MCU movie

yeah it seems we are getting some different s*** still with Joker and hopefully Batman and Suicide Squad but it seems like they aren't really anywhere as far off from Marvel as they used to be stylistically

Shazam was good when it was doing the "big" kid in a big body hanging with a fellow kid thing. It turned into cheesy forgettable generic s*** as soon as it became a super hero film in the third act

yeah thats what I was sayin

they kept criticizing DC for being "serious" and now they are forcing in just as many corny quips and making every movie feel same-y like what MCU been doing for a while now

I feel like at this point MCU and DCEU are about the exact same thing, you just end up getting a few different movies from DC like with Joker. I don't really count this JL because its apparently non canon and just a one off, but DC's basically become Marvel now.

yeah MoS and BvS was when DC was genuinely trying to be different from MCU and they got roasted for it. The criticisms were especially lame cuz it was just losers crying about how there should be more corny jokes in them.

I do hope this Batman movie hit but idk, Reeves been disappointing to me lately. Definitely interested in that and Gunn's Suicide Squad though.
