I was thinking of this a little bit because I feel like JL was a product of trying to please everyone and then ultimately pleasing no one. If fans have the power to make a movie redone then it won't stop. Can you imagine a movie being good but a vocal majority was like "naw change that s***
" and the studio did it? Kinda like Sonic. I was behind the Snyder cut because it was his vision not the fans vision. Can you imagine fans making JK Rowlings and WB switch up Harry Potter, not because her vision got played with but because the fans didn't like something

Movie editor said she had to start working while filming to make the release date (also that Lucasfilms made them stop working on it), reshoots, etc

None of those movies that get complaints have a situation comparable to JL. Also it took over 2.5 years of begging and yelling at a wall for this to happen no one else coming with that much fandom most the time
