avengers assemble scene was such a moment but looking back the ugly brown cinematography ruins what should be a colorful assault on our eyes.
for all the talk about muted coloring in Snyder’s films the Russo’s aren’t any better. They use less color and make zero interesting stylistic choices, they just use less green screen. This is one of the reasons why Ragnorak stood out to me when the trailers for it dropped, Taika completely embraced the fantasy-sci fi elements of the Thor series in a way that resembled the comics but also gave us hints of Flash Gordon. James Gunn’s Guardians 2 has more visual flair than any of the Russo’s MCU output too.
And even the fact his color schemes are more muted, the images captured are beautiful many times like these:

van wilder needs to stay away from Snyder

It's nice to see support from the other side!

when the Russo’s aren’t handing scenes to visual effects artists their direction is clunky af. seemed like they heard all the complaints and tried to prove theirselves with Cherry but they just exposed theirselves even more - they threw everything at the wall visually hoping it would create a signature style for them but all they did was remind people of better directors, same s*** happened with Sam Levinson but those are the people the industry is trying to push as visionaries.

I don’t want him poisoning lord Snyder’s mind.
I’m glad Ryan wasn’t in this. Would not have fit the movie at all and would’ve instantly felt like a comedy moment even if it wasn’t

Tbh, also the fight in wakanda looked trash. GotG still undefeated as far as fun, dynamic, comicbook aesthetics go.
Everything I’ve seen has me excited for this but dc has let me down so many times recently I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much.

prepared to be disappointed again if you didn’t like man of steel or bvs
Jared GOAT for this

Let Snyder move on. Ya’ll had your chance with the Snyderverse imo.
facts lol. Yall hated BVS so much that they sabotaged Snyder
Maybe Snyder doesn't want to move on
I think he’s gonna do his Army of the Dead thing for a year or two then come back for Justice League 2 in 2024 or something

is that really on Snyder fans tho? they weren't the ones saying that it was general audiences. Snyder fans the only reason all of this is happening
yall saying we had our chance as if we aren't getting a 4 hour original version of a 2017 movie in 2021 right now lol. Anything possible at this point with the success this could bring. Think its up to what Snyder genuinely wants and he could just want to be done.

It’s not on Snyder fans (I’m a fan) but audiences had their chance. They only thing we should hope for is a sequel to Justice League since the Snyder cut ends on a cliffhanger but regardless I’m fine with just leaving everything up to our own imaginations. The end of Snyder’s DCU will be bittersweet.
part of me even think JL isn’t as divisive as his other films because we’ve been oversaturated with so many MCU films since the Whedon cut came out that audiences are finally able to accept Snyder’s take on the genre.
The part I'm at.. Yeah that's not what I was expecting holy (in a good way)
How did you get it early?
