What are the best DC animated shows/Movies to watch?
Ok so Superman the animated series
Pros: has some gems sprinkled in there like Clark Kent using his detective and journalistic skills to free an innocent Black man from being wrongfully executed.
It's got some dope speeches and views on doing "the right thing".
The main plottier episodes like Darkseid and s*** is f***ing heat. In fact it only adds to Superman vs Darkseid in JLU and Superman getting ticked off with Batman
It has some nice world building and actually has a great feel of metropolis with reoccurring Chara
Lex>
Cons: some episodes feel slow like some of the not so good episodes of BTAS.
Superman usage rather lack of use of powers is almost frustrating. He'll dodge a punch one episode then let a nigga punch him the next.
BTAS and STAS both go into JL, while they both greatly add a bit of history and texture they aren't really necessary if you want to just jump in there.
The fights in the Raimi trilogy still holds up
not just the fight scenes, the emotional beats and scale of those films. Homecoming and Far From Home look & feel like generic teen comedies compared to Raimi's films. Jon Watts f***ing sucks.

Yeah If I really get into the mood I might have to watch Batman animated series > Superman animated series > Justice League
It’s kinda weird to me cause i don’t wanna constantly s*** on this movie but yeah you’re low-key right.
I feel like Snyder could have done better. doesn’t look awful or anything though
Darkseid not that crazy of a designed character though. He just got a wrestling outfit over a rock body

He knew Peter was a broke boi and hit him with a sack of Chuckie Cheese tokens lmao

tragic
ngl I know some annoying comic book dweebs love bringing up the fact that Raimi dumbed down Peter Parker and gave him the power to shoot webs instead of from building a mechanical web shooters but I always loved those aspects.
Raimi made him into an average nerd which made him more relatable and as for the mutant web slinging, well why not? makes more sense than a teenager who's so smart he managed to invent mechanical web shooters.
The ‘problem’ with Darkseid visually isn’t really the design and only kinda the cgi, it’s moreso the model itself. But I won’t hold em, it’s not bad for a cg character made entirely from scratch. They didn’t have the benefit of capturing an actor’s performance to base the model around (ie Josh Brolin’s Thanos in IW)
He seems cool as a villain tho from what I’ve seen so far
Speaking of fight scenes, this will always have me shook. You really feel like it might be it for Spider-Man

What are the best DC animated shows/Movies to watch?
Batman under the red hoot, batman assault on Arkhum (basically what the suicide movie should have been) and the dark knight returns part one and especially part 2

Thanks for the movie suggestions I'm kind of more interested in these rather than a full series.
