Excuse my ignorance, but whats his issue with the Quasimodo request? Quasimodo became a recluse and shyed away from the world because he was ashamed of his appearance. Its pretty well-documented through comics and adaptations that Cyborg has experienced similar feelings

Damn some details at last. The "angry black man at center of movie" coulda beem wb trying to remove anything considered "dark" from the movie and even looking at it as some bad look black stereotype. Obviously even if thst were the case fisher gonna see it differently as they pretty much butchered his entire role and made him a background character and because his character was "an angry black man"
