they've already created excuses like "we never claimed there was no Snyder cut. Just that there allot of the visual effects weren't done so there's no cut ready to be shown" which is true but every fan already knew that was the case.

I doubt it would've cost much to get them done tho, that extra money WB gave Snyder mostly went into reshoots.

took the words right out of my head haha. i always found it dope how this is a superman story first and foremost even if we see all these characters. it’s him joining a world already lived in. all these characters have their own past (that zack kinda left up for us to decide or other filmmakers as he’s said) and the darker tone definitely helps in a sense just because of the overarching story being told with darkseid’s invasion and all that. idk i loved it from the beginning. and like you said i love my fair share of marvel movies but i definitely didn’t wanna see them go that route.

Snyder's movies always look great but at the same time look kind of like a video game, I don't know what it is.

Maybe it's the mix of great cinematography with subpar CGI? Like all the shots in this look gorgeous but if you look long enough you realize it looks very fake or something? Like this shot for example:

Aside from that line (definitely a meta reference) the dialogue was very engaging for me.
