He don't understand the characters, tho.

Quite literally the moment in the film where he became superman and it showed that not just him, but ANYONE could be a hero.

The camera focuses on supes hand than turns into a fist as it pans down on his face. The literal weight of TWO WORLDS is on his shoulders in this scene. Cut between perry trying to save jenny and promising her he's not leaving. When the cars in front of them get crushed he immediately turns to her and focuses entirely on her. To show her he's with her til the very end.

Clark looks up (with the Chris reeves face superimposed) and just slowly flies straight up gaining speed. His old world fighting him, the music swells and he let's out a desperate forceful yell and pierces the world engine and flies out the top.

Fuxking perfect. Everything about that scene is perfect

How and why Whedon thought this was not good enough of a scene to make the cut is beyond me. 🤡

I can't wait to not support any dc movies after this comes out.

Imagine giving them the benefit of the doubt when they covered up abuse and wrongdoing on set. Imagine supporting a company that has so little faith in MULTIPLE films (bvs, justice league, joker, birds of prey, not informing studios that they were f***ing with their movies releases) that they either sold off the profits or made consistent bone headed decisions that impacted the revenue stream and thus future films being put in jeopardy.

They aren't getting a dime of my money and I know thousands of other ppl who feel exactly the same way.
