Hot Take Leto Joker is overhated.

Think most people in here understand that comic book characters shouldn't always be represented in one way and when we get different variations of the characters, it's exciting.

Imagine just working out and eating all day for weeks.

I have a feeling this Batman and joker scene is gonna be insanely hard, one of the coolest things in the movie and be really bittersweet because it could be the last Affleck/Leto/Batman/Joker scene we get.

His dialogue and costume design in Suicide Squad made him extremely hard to like imo. And it just felt like he was trying too hard most of the time

But I do feel like Leto could do a better job if he is given better writing and direction. I believe Snyder will handle Leto's Joker MUCH better than Ayer ever could

Modern Gangster style Joker with bling, edgy tattoos (that by the way i feel like Joker would do in character anyway)
and a bit of over acting flare, built up to be portrayed as the abusive boyfriend.

I think his performance gets f***ed over by editing decisions and tonal shifts.

Idk never bugged me personally, certainly not as a good as Ledger’s or Phoniex’s portrayals but i think Leto got a bad deal.
