You don’t understand the concept of “lesser of two evils” ???

I’m saying he isn’t evil and is not someone with immoral ambitions

Lesser of two evils implies two people or situations that are bad and undesirable

Hes prolly a racist and his track record kinda indicates that too

you literally argued that he isn't the lesser of two evils by defining him and confirming that he is the lesser of two evils lmao

What other mediums do you use to protest the two party system?

Campaigning and advertising for other parties
    Protest
Patience (waiting for someone of another party to capture spotlight)

I’m not completely sure as of now but it will come about

He's not 'the better of the two evils' and he is not even a centrist. He's a right-winger that spits his woke identity politics schtick but will ultimately continue to push the exact same policies as Trump. In every way, he is as equally bad in an equally terrible party.

By any intellectual scale he is considered the left in regards to American politics... (Gun laws, abortion, taxes, etc...)

Biden is at least a moderate

His view on police and military probably overlaps with some right wing though unfortunately

The American left is still the objective right. Gun laws are a rightist position (only privileged authorities and those deemed acceptable by the state should be armed), abortion rights are neutral depending on the perspective it's being viewed from (women's body rights or the potential baby's rights), taxation is mild-left -- but if he's anything like Obama, he will yap about raising taxes on the wealthy but not actually do anything about it; not that it matters anyway, there are lawyers and tax experts whose entire job is to sit around looking for ways to exploit the tax code to their benefit.

Again, if Biden is -anything- like Obama, which we are expected to believe that he is, then he will be exactly like Trump. Aside from rhetoric, George W, Obama, and Trump, have all governed nearly identically.

i don’t mind that he’s a centrist, I mind that he’s senile and old and can hardly form a sentence without blundering through it

for me i can't really take that seriously when so many people who say it say it like trump isnt even worse in that regard

like theres really some people who claim trump is good at debates and speaking. what planet are they on

It’s seems you don’t understand how American government works..

The legislative and executive branch are there to balance each each other out
And there is the state vs federal to further create a balance and separation of power

If the most radical person was to get elected they would be virtually able to do nothing as state judges and federal legislators would block all their policies
(Majority rule with minority consent) even if you have the majority on the state house and congress , you will likely still need minority votes to pass bills

This can be frustrating but the simple fact is deters men who can be potentially dangerous and detrimental to the state from having true power.

This is why people worship the constitution so much, it’s the law of the land but also a pillar to America’s greatness

But they can still be change it just Has to happen over time.

The slaves weren’t freed in a day... first they banned slave trade , years later enacted emancipation, years later desegregated, years later civil rights , years later affirmative action, years later equal opportunity acts, and so on
And other side also had power and enacted detrimental policy but people fought...

    Synopsis

That the material conditions of the working class and poor ppl will continue to get worse

The working class has continued to improve and was doing well pre pandemic, for lower income jobs there is a minimum wage that will rise,

Of course it’s not perfect but there is opportunity for improvement if people choose the right candidates, yes change is hard but it can happen

Homelessness decreased under Obama administration , financial aid opportunities increased , middle class becoming more diverse, more affordable housing, more mental help programs, more jobs

What more do you want ? You can’t expect someone to come in and make everything perfect but if someone is making improvements one can at least give a nod to that

Cmon bro don’t take him out of context, he was always pro segregation but said doing it in an unorderly way with regards to schools would create a “racial jungle” with much “racial tension”

Which was a view point many black and white had since Mfers were racist and there was indeed a lot of racial tension

In regards to the crime bill you do understand the crack epidemic/90s created historic amounts of crime and there was pressure for something to be done to stop crime in those communities. This crime bill was backed by numerous African Americans...
It’s racist now to try and fight against crime? of course it had its flaws but cmon that’s dumb to say nothing should have been done and to be critical of it hindsight

the presidency may matter in terms of the direction of public zeitgeist, but in reality, the changes that affect every day life are typically not done on a federal scale. If anything, the executive branch occupies a "cultural" pivot more than it often does policy. The reaction of the public to this cultural pivot tends to effect everyday life more than the actual direction of the branch in isolation in this country.
This isn't to say there isn't nuance to it - of course there is some degree of the executive branch affecting factors which trickle down to everyday life, but these are mixed within the interwoven political system we have. Local & state elections matter far more than federal in that regard. While they aren't independent of what is done on a federal level, they set the actual course of how things affect you far more than the more abstract federal orders.
