Social media has made it easier to put lip service to these things and to be motivated to behave so because your audience will reinforce your opinions if they sound good enough.

And guess what.. that leads to people acting like they care about things they don’t. I personally never really cared for R Kelly that much but the same way people forgave him in the public eye in 2005 when he dropped gospel joints, and criticized anybody for bein critical of him because “god teaches us forgiveness” should keep that same energy.
