This is me with TLJ and TROS to this day. Fallen Kingdom just wasn’t good either besides maybe the first 30 mins.

Yo something that has always bothered me is how the dinosaurs in these movies don't even look like dinosaurs, and more like monsters (like they're trying to demonize these animals)

I blame the CGI for this tbh

they looked a lot more like animals in the first 2 JP movies

Hmm to some extent. The dinosaurs themselves weren't scientifically accurate at all (even at the time). But still, the original JP does an amazing job at presenting them. Despite the use of cgi, the whole movie has a very naturalistic/believable atmosphere throughout (and I love it for it).

The JW movies on the other hand don't look good at all. It's like they went the opposite direction and tried to make them as glossy and artificial as possible (which is kinda ironic considering the subject matter).

hope they still doing the dino detective thing

The 5 minute preview was nice, CG was on point and that IMAX aspect ratio

That's the whole point, these aren't "real" dinosaurs, but what we created as what we believe dinosaurs were. They talked about in the last movie.

"We believe?" Bruh the science has changed since the first movie. That's a flimsy ass explanation tbh. The better explanation is these new movies simply havent adapted with the times.

You're missing the point. They dinosaurs in the movie are never meant to be realistic interpretation of what the science shows dinosaurs were like. They literally point out how the creations are not anything like real dinosaurs but what humans wanted them to be at the time of the Jurassic Park project started.

This movie gonna be dumb af starting with the point that we can't kill these dinosaurs fast enough

Nah I get that. I'm just labeling it as lazy writing. Because when JP came out back in 1993 it was a totally different reality. Some random character 25 years later saying "well.. they were never meant to be accurate" is a cop-out.

Tbh dinosaurs being accurate is the least of these movies' problems. Fallen Kingdom was legit a horribly written movie.
