2014 FHD Cole was DIFFERENT. Idk if it was the same everywhere but I remember it felt like all eyes and ears were on that album/Cole when it dropped

Agreed and what even hurts more is the Truly Yourz series is notably better too, like why did he have to scrap them for bunch of bullshit is beyond me

It’s a great album but didn’t really do something unique to the level of a Discovery or Homework.
Don’t rly think their third best record (4th if u consider Alive 2007 as an album) would be album of the 10s

It’s wild how ahead of its time Yeezus is, you can tell the influence from the mixing to the type of sounds being incorporated in this current wave of “distort that b**** til it clips” hip hop (shoutout to WLR)
