Modulo: Bit sad that yuji took this much center stage and attention away from yuta grandkids now. Happy that greg is tying loose ends. But I feel like there is so much more to explore. I hope Modulo will be a jjk 0 to the major story following.
My fan theory With Japans major anti immigration and closing their borders policy I would see it as a nice twist if Maru and Yuji will open Cursed energy to the world. Basically finally creating sorcerers globally. Tengen created literally borders, Yuji is already prepared to take on the mantle of the next Tengen. Making him this figure could also limit him and solve his current powercreep
I believe Japan is already in a desperate situation which is the stuff Yuta son and Ui Ui are about. Basically its Japan vs the world with CE. Currently they are still tied but the moment sorcerers become to weak to defend Japans position the ultimate future might be what they already tried: taking Japanese people as energy batteries.
Howver with Curses being exclusively in Tokyo sorcerers will become weaker and weaker. Opening the border releasing Ce globally would create a friendly relationship with the Simurans and Japan because now the foreign relations arent centered around Japan and uniting both parties in assisting the rest of the world with new rampant sorcerers

Tsurugi’s out cold, Yuka is in suspended animation. Maru is still center piece and he’s arguably the most important character in the manga. Yuji was always going to have a fight in the manga, and it was 7 pages or less lol. He’s only been present for three chapters not including the final pages, of 18. I think he’s going to get another big chapter to close up his story. I feel it’s expected. And I love how Yuji explains the morality of this resolution. Next chapter is definitely a twist coming.

Also Yuji stated himself the cons and ended the chapter saying CS’s will still arise no matter what. Yuji becoming the next Tengen was a popular theory in the OG JJK when people were still merger truthers believe it or not :cryhah: so it makes sense. Not really any other way to go and that would be the best way to do it.
