regarding modulo
with yuji being in a depressed sunken state and dabura all euphoric about to climax and bust because he finally has a fight he has to try a bit to win it'll be interesting how their mental states clash when they meet
still waiting for maho to die already. I know ya'll see the bullshit I'm talking about. nutass loser should've died 8 different times by now. move on!
They gave one whole scene with amazing character acting and no cuts for Mr. Stake himself
I must be dumb cause I don't understand it either when its animated
can someone explain Yaga's part. So first scene he's in a cell then he's outside? I thought it was a flashback but it's not so he escapes or what? Also why are they even after him in the first place if they knew about his technique from the very beginning?

You’re right, it’s a flashback. The episode starts with Panda as a baby and based on the convo right after means that they imprisoned him for creating Panda at that point.
The reason for them going after him now is because (explained in the previous episode) a lot of ppl were under Gojo’s protection. He was also named alongside Gojo and Geto as collaborators for engineering the Shibuya Incident iirc. After the incident the higher ups started to apply pressure.
Edit: here's the directive from the last ep of S2

They couldn’t go after him since Gojo would protect him. With Gojo sealed they can do what they want now.
Also yeah they captured panda to get him out of hiding. The flashback was him using the self sustaining corpse to show he knows how to recreate it.
WHAT AN ADAPTION. Ts so cinematic every ep feels like a mini movie. Prolly my favorite ep so far it’s just so fluid
did the panda sibling backstory get cut?

It'll probably be moved to another episode unless they decided to omit it

Interesting. Regardless of that omission, was an amazing ep and I’m trying to think if it was possibly replaced with the forest friends moments bc I do not remember reading that but I could’ve just forgot

The panda w/ his siblings scene isn't shown at this point in the story. If I remember correctly, it's when he fights Kashimo.

Oh dope!!!
that scene fr had me tearing up
Seems super obvious but I wonder if there's people who wont pick up on the fact that Kirara is a trans woman

Poor panda. But tbh the Yaga scene hit me harder in the manga. The anime made it a bit too fast paced.

I agree it hit harder emotionally for me in the manga but I also don’t dislike the direction they chose. It kinda works with the flow of the ep
That whole panda and yaga sidestory is so ass, so unserious.
The rest was great as expected, looooved the yuji and hakari convo, what a great way to convey the tension yuji felt. Good use of rotoscoping too
