Dub watcher (& manga reader)
Only seen the S3E1 so far, may watch the second today
Visuals were stupid
They popping curses open & their blood looking like tranquil watercolor paintings, hopefully the animators will have had less of a crunch this season so they can keep fully fleshing out the art to its fullest potential
The new op is now my favorite
Seen some of the discussion around some of the Japanese fandom not liking the episode while westerners in general are praising it
I think we have to accept and understand that there are many Japanese fans that are media illiterate. That plus a tendency to be way too stuck in their own (often wrong) perception of manga panels leads to stuff like CSM season 1 director being crucified and now the complaints about JJK season 3.
Hopefully mappa stops listening to the vocal minority over there

Lmao and the stupid Japanese fans opinions are bleeding over to the west. The biggest thing I've read is that they hate how Maki seemed over powered in her fight with Noaya. She was just as overpowered in the damn manga
They literally took one panel of her saying "this is not going well" as Maki being backed into a corner 😭😭😭 She just quickly realized her current strategy wasn't working and just had to switch it up.
Thats most of it along with some music choices I’m in agreement with. Biggest for me is Jinichi not being urgent like in the manga when approaching Maki.
I took it as a "it's already over lil bro"
After rewatching the episode, another complaint i have is that naoya didnt feel strong at all in the anime. He was throwing punches at both maki and choso yet they didnt seem to be affected at all, while in the manga he feels more like a threat
Hes was strong but not enough, let it go
Broooo I don’t get how people don’t like the Ranta-Jinichi scene, that s*** is perfect
The music, the horns blaring
Ranta’s VA absolutely steals the moment
DO IT HERE AND NOW!
KILL HER!
’
Bro that s*** takes me back to G Gundam days, Domon Kashu angry teen scream angst
naoya, if you really wanted to be like toji so badly maybe you would've actually used weapons and cursed tools and took some W's

you f***ed with the OST? lol, i found it kinda odd
At least we move pass this s*** quick
Rage bait better lil b**** and I ain’t posting yo avy with some mid looking b**** 😂
Hes was strong but not enough, let it go
I got no problems with him losing, in fact the final punch was so cathartic in both manga and anime. But in both fights he felt too much like a bum when gege never portrayed him that weak in the manga

you gotta chill man imagine saying this about fans who have consumed more + (probably) know more about the genre than you do lmao
i enjoyed the ep but I’m not going that far. Some ignorant ass s*** to say
Whole arc is just revenge p*** and maki random power up the worst part is maki acting nonchalant about it
Tsundere mom at the end
Just s*** on top of s***
The way gege wrote the mom is still baffling to this day lmao

that's the issue tho to be fair. otakus, specifically the vocal minority always up to this s***, do not consume anything other than manga and anime. and lets be honest they be consuming a lot of musty s*** in those categories as well
there is a clear lack of appreciation and understanding of what they are seeing rn because they are too stuck on their preconceived ideas of how things should look and feel
like just look at this season so far. it's by far the most interesting shonen from a visual sense in so long. the shots, perspectives, camera work, colors and style. it's fresh, it's sexy, it's a joy to watch

This doesn't exist.
It's literally just one japanese dude on twitter who said this and got s*** on by other japanese people for it.
We used to make fun of people for believing anything on facebook.
Same goes here.
